• Choose "Preferences".
  • Choose "Connect to online sets".
  • Choose the symbol set you want to use.
  • Read and accept the license for the symbol set you have chosen.
  • Enable the symbol set (click in the box next to its name in "Commtap Symboliser Preferences").


If you click on the name of the online symbol set in Commtap Symboliser Preferences, you will see some links to information about the symbol set.


Generally you will need to be connected to the internet to be able to use online symbols. However it does save recently used symbols onto your computer - so you may still be able to do some symbolising if you go offline.
